Christmas 2010

Another Christmas here and gone. I don't really want to put up the decorations. JT refuses to believe it's really over. I LOVE Christmas, celebrating the birth of our Savior, and the warmth of the season. Could you imagine if people had the CHRISTmas spirit throughout the year? Giving, volunteering, doing for others, trying hard to make sure those in need don't go without, attending church, spending time with friends & family, singing, telling others you love them and thinking about them, beautiful decorations, wonderful food, celebrating Jesus' birth... I could go on, but you get the picture. Could you imagine?

As we do each year, we stayed home for Christmas and attended Christmas Eve service at church. And, as always, we had a wonderful Christmas! Grammy & Papa came. I SO enjoy the eve service, singing carols, hearing the Christmas story and lighting candles. My favorite is looking at my children in the candle light, treasuring them as a gift from God and the amazement at how much they have grown in a year, and remembering the most important birth of all.

On Christmas, Uncle Paul and family joined us as well. The kids were so EXCITED to see their cousins. We had a great time eating, visiting and playing games. LOTS of laughter and LOTS of food.

I hope all of you had a blessed Christmas, as we did.
Much love, Momma Wolg

Sissy is "helping" make holiday goodies. Chocolate!
Santa brought Sissy a big girl bike in her favorite color. Woo Hoo!
Barely awake, JT came in to find Santa brought him a new bike, a.k.a. motorcycle.
Wow! Santa saw him at the store when he found this bike and cried because he wanted it so.

Although it was COLD outside, the kids took a quick ride on their new bikes.

Daddy had to try too.
Opening presents with their cousins.
Another emergency vehicle...happy boy.

Adult table (Zach, maybe next year you can join the kids table)
SOME of us got a nap.

Can we NOT make the hunting game a tradition? Yawn.
